Government Withdraws SMS Tax
Government has decided to take back SMS tax, due to high customers’ demand, especially the youth of Pakistan. Hina Rabbani Khar, while concluding budget discussion in National Assembly said that on huge demand from youth, government has decided to not to tax SMS services.

Mobile Users in Pakistan hit 93 Mln Mark
The Pakistan mobile market grew to 93.138 million customers in May, from 91.978 million in April 2009. Mobilink showed scored maximum subscribers by adding 430,659 customers, while Telenor added 374,701 customers in same months.
