Broadband Subscribers in Pakistan Cross 1 Million Mark

Pakistani Internet Service Providers crossed one million mark for broadband internet subscribers in the country by totaling 1.052 million broadband subscribers in October 2010, up from 994,911 subscribers in September 2010.

Pakistan Ends November 2010 with 101.64 Million Cellular Subscribers

According to recent most stats shared by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, cellular companies ended November 2010 with 101.641 million subscribers, up from 100.715 million in October 2010. Country’s cellular teledensity reached 61 percent, highest ever in the history.

Pakistan Exchanged 151 Billion SMS in 2009: Report

In a report published by PTA, on SMS traffic trends in local and global markets, says that a total of 151.6385 billion text messages were exchanged by Pakistani cellular subscribers in fiscal year 2009-10, generating revenue of Rs. 40.76 billion.

3G Services to be Available by 2011 End: Seminar Notes
