PTCL has introduced Android powered 7 inch tablet device as August 14th Dhamaka to celebrate the Independence Day. PTCL’s newly launched 3G Evo Tab boasts built-in EVO service to offer wireless broadband internet on the go.
Handset import bill of various brands, prices and features has been registered at Rs. 44.69 billion in the outgoing financial year (2010-11), up from Rs 26.44 billion import bill recorded during the same period previous year, said stats issued by FBS.
PTCL has increased tariff for its student package – in addition a 50 GB data limit has been applied to 4Mbps, 6Mbps and 8Mbps DSL packages. 1Mbps, 2 Mbps, 10Mbps, 20Mbps and 50 Mbps are still unlimited.
Mobilink has posted positive results in it’s second quarter for current fiscal year, said an earning report issued by Orascom Telecom, parent group of Mobilink. Report said that Mobilink generated a total of Rs. 24.94 billion rupees in second quarter of 2011, up from 23.55 billion a quarter earlier.
