Pakistan Bags 3 Telecom Awards at SAMENA Awards 2010

PTA has been declared Most Progressive Telecom Regulator in South Asia for the year, while Chairman PTA Dr. Mohammed Yaseen has been recognized as Best Telecom Regulatory Leader of the Year. Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) was also announced the winner of Best Fixed Operator award.

Telenor Pakistan Posts Better Than Expected Q3-2010

Telenor Pakistan’s revenues for the Q3-2010 stood at USD 199 million down from USD 210 million in 2nd quarter 2010. Thanks to increased sales, Telenor said, company’s EBITDA margin for Pakistan stood at 29.7 percent, 5 percent higher than same period last year.
